SHOCKING FAMILY SHOWDOWN: Luna’s Fate Hangs in the Balance on The Bold and the Beautiful
The Bold and the Beautiful recap is finally in for Wednesday, October 8, 2025! In today’s episode, John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) blasts Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada). Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda) apologizes. Plus, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Taylor Hayes (Rebecca Budig) confront Bill Spencer (Don Diamont) and Katie Logan (Heather Tom).
Finn’s Fury
In the office at the hospital, Finn tries to process that Luna Nozawa (Lisa Yamada) is pregnant with Will Spencer’s (Crew Morrow) baby.
Luna wants an OB/GYN referral.
Finn suggests the prison doctor. Finn wants to know how she is not in prison right now. Luna brags that she’s carrying Bill’s grandchild.
Li Finnegan Apologizes
In Li’s office, Ridge and Taylor burst through the door. Li calmly stands up and is prepared. How could she do this?!
Li thought she could help save Luna’s soul. The doctor admits it was a mistake and she should never have done it.
Luna stabbed her in the back after she risked it all for her.
Taylor could have saved her the trouble and told her that would happen.
Li says that everything they are saying, she has said to herself. She’s truly sorry.
Ridge declares that Luna will have her baby in prison. The man doesn’t care what Bill and Katie say!
Bill and Katie Confronted
At the Spencer mansion, Bill gets off the phone. The man tells Katie that Luna is almost far enough along to have a paternity test.
Katie wants Bridget Forrester (Ashley Jones) to administer the test. Bill blames himself for all of this.
Katie thinks the blame goes to Li. However, Bill admits that he is the one that got Luna pardoned in the first place.
Katie can’t argue with him there. The man says Katie gives him clarity. He needs her so much!
Katie wonders where Luna is and goes searching. They realize she’s gone!
Bill starts panicking. Luna suddenly appears and says she went to see her dad.
Finn walks in next and blasts Bill and Katie for moving Luna back in.
BATIE tries to assure Finn that there is going to be a paternity test. They will make sure it can’t be tampered with.
Luna says they all should be happy as this child will change all of their lives. It doesn’t change anything for Finn.
The doctor swears to protect Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and the children!
Luna pouts about this and Bill says she’s carrying his grandchild. They all agree Luna belongs in prison, but they need to figure this out first.
Taylor & Ridge Burst In
Suddenly, Ridge and Taylor bust through the door. The madness must end today! Luna is going to prison, they declare!
Hope Logan & Deke Sharpe Bond
At Forrester Creations, Hope Logan (Annika Noelle) and Deke Sharpe (Harrison Cone) continue talking.
The lady needs a new designer for Hope For the Future. It’s awkward working with Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), although he is so talented.
After Deke gets way too excited over patterns, he asks for a favor.
Deke’s talent will speak for itself, but he needs a way into the industry. Hope agrees to help.
Once Hope leaves, Deke takes photos of designs and then scampers away.

According to TMZ, Rycroft was arrested for a DWI in September 2025. Rycroft allegedly told Texas police officers that a driver had hit her car and fled the scene, but an eyewitness apparently contradicted her report.
The Tarrant County police alleged that Rycroft had “bloodshot eyes” and “slurred speech” with a “slight odor of a metabolized alcoholic beverage” on her breath.
Rycroft’s car was allegedly damaged on its right side as well as a nearby tree, per TMZ. After searching the car, police allegedly found “fresh droplets of colored liquid substances and spilled liquids inside the vehicle.”
Rycroft was taken into custody and released on bond eight hours later after posting a $1,000 bail with a promise to appear in court.
Following the incident, Rycroft’s attorney Bret Martin released a statement on her behalf.
“I want to remind the public of the fundamental principle of our justice system…every individual is presumed innocent until proven guilty,” he told TMZ at the time. “We as a society, have gotten completely away from this fundamental concept. My client was arrested on the allegation of Driving While Intoxicated. An arrest is no indication of guilt.”
“We respectfully request that the media and the public allow the legal process to unfold, and withhold any judgment whatsoever until all of the evidence has been properly analyzed and presented in a court of law,” he shared.
A few days later, Rycroft responded to an Instagram comment on her account without revealing much details about her situation.
“Life really sucks right now and I’m struggling, but I’m trying to march forward,” she said on October 6.
