Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Potomac premiered on Bravo recently. Of course, among the cast members are Wendy Osefo and her husband, Eddie Osefo. While the two celebrated the success of their business in the first episode, reports have now surfaced that they have been charged with fraud.
Wendy joined RHOP in 2020 for the show’s fifth season. Since then, she and Eddie have become staples on the series. They have been married since 2011. The couple has three kids.
According to TMZ, both Wendy and Eddie have been arrested and booked for criminal fraud charges in Maryland.
The court documents state that Wendy is facing 16 charges in total, with seven of them being felonies. Regarding her charges, one of them is for false/misleading information fraud in excess of $300.
Wendy also has one misdemeanor count for making a false statement to an officer. It’s unclear at this time what Eddie is being charged with. The report states that the Real Housewives of Potomac stars were booked in Westminster, Maryland, on the night of October 9.

She previously worked at Johns Hopkins University. She was an assistant professor in the Doctor of Education program.
However, she announced that she had resigned in 2024 to devote more of her time to other endeavors. Despite this, she began teaching a new class called The Sociology of Reality TV at Wesleyan University in 2024. Regarding Eddie, he is an entrepreneur and philanthropist.
He launched his cannabis line, Happy Eddie, in 2022. Since then, the line has been featured on the show. As of October 2025, Happy Eddie is sold in five states: Arizona, Connecticut, Maryland, Missouri, and New Jersey. Eddie and Wendy have plans to expand to New York, Pennsylvania, and Florida.

On the I Do, Part 2 podcast, Teresa was asked whether she’ll return to the show next season.
“I don’t know. I mean, we’re waiting for Bravo to make a decision. That’s where we’re at right now,” she said. “So whatever they say. If they want me back, you know, I’m willing to go back.”
She then addressed the status of her relationship with Melissa and Joe.
“My brother and my sister-in-law, I’m not speaking to, but I did reach out [to them],” said the star. “Because you know what, time does heal all wounds, and you know, when time goes by, you forget things … I want to be a good example for my children. I have four daughters, and … I always tell them, ‘I always want you guys to get along. Please always be there for each other … Be a family, be a beautiful family. If someone doesn’t get along, just be the bigger person, try to make it work.'”
Teresa shared that she has to “practice what I preach.”
“So that’s why with my brother, I reached out to him,” she continued. “I put it out there … So now I’m like, you know what, never say never. Because before, I was just like, ‘Absolutely not. I’m Italian. I’m very stubborn … It’s never gonna happen.’ But now … my brother hasn’t really been in my life [for] three years.”
The star said Joe responded after she reached out. “I think we’re gonna meet and … speak,” Teresa hinted.
