What is Deke Doing to Hope’s Designs?

In the October 8 episode of The Bold and the Beautiful, Deke offered advice on the sketches she had for Hope for the Future. Once she left the room, he took pictures of them, which has us wondering what he’s up to.
Key Takeaways
- Deke is back in Los Angeles, and he’s finally reuniting with his sister, Hope.
- He’s been keeping many secrets in his life, including his relationship with Remy.
- Hope wants Deke to work as the lead designer for Hope for the Future, as she no longer collaborates with Zende or Thomas.
- Deke was seen doing something shady behind his sister’s back.
Sibling Solidarity or Sibling Rivalry?
Deke (Harrison Cone) gave Hope (Annika Noelle) some brutally honest advice about her personal style. Even though she’s known for her boho-chic style, he wants her to step outside her comfort zone.
She’s been doing that a lot, personally. Why not express that professionally? Hope’s love life has been all over the place lately.
Her heart is now aligned with Liam (Scott Clifton), who had been hoping to win her back. However, the exes reunited for the sake of their daughter, Beth, which is messy in itself.
Deke believes Hope’s collection should reflect her growth and maturity. She went outside her comfort zone when she collaborated with Thomas (Matthew Atkinson), both personally and professionally.
But now, he’s no longer the lead designer. Plus, it would be awkward for them to work together again. There’s also the issue of his traveling back and forth from Paris. So, she’s kind of stuck on what direction to take her line.
Hope would like her brother to become the new lead designer now that he has just graduated from design school. She’s already put in a good word with her mom.
But she’s not noticing the red flags with her brother. He’s hiding a lot of things in his own personal life. Hope told Deke that she’s happy about him living with someone. However, he won’t name the person. He kept trying to shift the conversation back to her line.
Fashion Family Wars?
Deke offered more of his input on the sketches displayed on the table. He told Hope that he was excited about working in fashion design. (See why B&B fans are confused that Deke is Hope’s younger brother.)
Deke wanted to start working at FC as soon as yesterday. He’s been itching to get his way into the “family business,” but how far will he go? And does he have nefarious intentions?
Once Hope left the room, Deke pulled out his phone and took several photos of the designs. He then sifted through the designs to ensure he had everything he needed.
What is Deke up to? Is he planning on stealing his sister’s designs? Or does he want to tweak them and add them to his portfolio so he gets into Forrester Creations?
Witney Carson Admits She Feels ‘Protective’ Over ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Partner Robert Irwin

Dancing With the Stars pro Witney Carson and partner Robert Irwin are becoming as close as siblings as they take on the ballroom together.
“We are just having the best time. I feel like we've become like this brother and sister duo,” Irwin, 21, exclusively told Us Weekly after the Tuesday, October 7, episode.
Carson, 31, agreed with Irwin’s sentiment. “100 percent,” she said. “I feel very protective over him, especially when the DMs get a little crazy. I get a little protective.”
The pro dancer has been playing matchmaker for Irwin since the season began, previously joking that her DMs are flooded with applicants hoping to score a date with the wildlife conservationist.
“He is an absolute dream partner and very humble,” she gushed to Us on Tuesday. “I gotta knock him down a little bit sometimes, keep you grounded, critique you a little bit more. But no, he is just as great as you guys see on TV.”
Carson and Irwin showed off their chemistry while performing a cha-cha to Zootopia's “Try Everything” on Disney Night. (Irwin revealed during the show that he is voicing a new character in the sequel to the hit animated film.)

The pair went on to earn a combined score of 22 out of 30 from judges Carrie Ann Inaba, Derek Hough and Bruno Tonioli, who encouraged Irwin to show off more of his physique.
“Well, I think that might have been left over from last week, because there was, let's just say we took it easy on the costume department,” Irwin told Us, referring to his shirtless moment from TikTok Night on September 30.
“We wanted to change the vibe a little bit and to really have the same sort of fun and fluidity, but in a completely different dance,” he continued. “The cha-cha was such a challenge, but so much fun and great to represent a movie like Zootopia. Shakira starts playing and the hips just start going. There’s no two ways about it.”
Carson and Irwin ultimately were saved from elimination, earning a chance to dance during the show’s Dedication Night on October 14. (Hilaria Baldwin and pro Gleb Savchenko were voted out of the competition on Tuesday.)
“We’re going to really be doing a special dedication to my family and to my mom, [Terri Irwin],” Robert told Extra on Tuesday. “I’m really excited for it.”
Ahead of the competition, Robert noted that his late dad,
“After doing this experience, I reckon I think he’d be stoked,” Robert exclusively told Us in September. “I reckon he would love it in here. This is like the ultimate adrenaline rush, and that’s what he loved more than anything else.”
