"We just couldn’t continue" — Lauren Wood breaks her silence after sudden split from Harrison and reveals the real reason!
LOVE Island bombshell Lauren Wood has broken her silence following her shock split with Harrison Solomon.
The ITV2 pair’s break-up was revealed earlier today with a source telling The Sun they were “really upset” at the turn of events.
Pals confirmed to us the relationship was “over” and now Casa Amor bombshell Lauren, 26, who lasted just 10 days in the Love Island villa, has spoken out.
The York-born lass, who entered the matchmaking show at a late stage, has opened up on the news and said: “Hi everyone, Harrison and I have decided to no longer continue our relationship but will remain friends as everything was amicable and mutual.
“We share such amazing memories together, ones that not many can relate to.
“Please respect our privacy whilst we navigate going our separate ways.”

Meanwhile, a source told The Sun: “It’s over – they’re both really upset but it wasn’t working.”
It comes just a day after she was branded “so gorgeous” following a girls night out with her co-stars in London.
The break-up news came just days after fans feared something was amiss when Harrison jetted off for a holiday to Dubai with no sign of Lauren, 26.
FAN CONCERN
Lauren and Harrison’s relationship was never a smooth one.
With a messy love triangle between the pair and Toni Laites, which drew criticism from charity Women’s Aid, their relationship was tested in Casa Amor.
Viewers saw tensions between the two girls rise as they fought over him.

He then made a plea to Toni ahead of a re-coupling to pick him, despite Harrison having sex with Lauren twice.
Toni’s decision to choose him in the re-coupling blindsided their exes Cach Mercer and Lauren, who were both left sobbing after the shock discovery.
Harrison was called the “lowest of the low” by fans who were eager for producers to step in and axe the “damaging boy” – prior to his exit.
Harrison then quit the series in explosive scenes, just 24 hours after Lauren was dumped from the villa.
Meanwhile, it appeared the couple were at a standstill in their relationship, following admissions made by Lauren during a podcast earlier this month.
According to Lauren during the chat, she told how the pair were not official but were “exclusive”.
She also spilled on a potentially major curveball in the couple’s partnership, leaving Harrison to “evaluate” his next steps.
Hinting there was trouble to come she said: “We were speaking about [living in] London last night but I think for now we’ll just see how things go because of his football.
“He is obviously wanting to go back to Miami at some point in the future, don’t know when. Don’t know how it works over there.”
Lauren then urged Harrison to “take all the opportunities he gets” after leaving the villa.
She added: “He wants to spend some time with his family, he’s come off a big show. I think he’s going to evaluate it probably next year and just see.
“He loves Miami so we’ll just see. To be honest it’s not a bad place to live, I wouldn’t mind. I love Miami, but depending on the relationship, I think… I would probably want to live there, I think I’d maybe split my time between [the UK and USA].”
