We promise, Lala Kent's pink hair transformation will leave you shocked.
No surprise here, but Lala Kent loves to experiment with her style. That is especially the case when it comes to the
The year was 2019, and Lala debuted the stunning and jaw-droppingly glam look for Tom Sandoval's birthday party that year. The extra-fab look featured Lala's super-long pink hair with dark roots paired with an equally pink getup complete with tulle skirt. And it wasn't just the hair color that was dramatic; the length also made a statement as her hair flowed past her butt that the whole look gave off mermaid or unicorn vibes, AKA it was a bit fairytale-like.
At the time, she dubbed herself "lil lala."
Lala Kent talks about changes to her hairstyle
While she was rocking the pastel pink hair like a pro all those years ago, more recently, Lala admitted that she's missing being a blonde. She made the hairy confession about the longing for the shade earlier this year.
“That picture for this Amazon Live made me miss my blond hair a lot. Like, a lot, a lot,” she said. “Do we like the natural-looking hair? By the way, my grays are popping with this natural hair. I have to do root touchups. Or do we go blond again? I don’t know. I’m torn.”
“This is what I do want to do, though, you guys,” she shared. “I think I want to get my hair healthy again; then, when I turn 40 — which is in five years, but that will fly by — I want to chop it and do the bleachest of platinum blond ever with a dark root and have a slicked-back moment. I’m already planning for 40. What is going on?”
For the record, Lala has been wearing her hair in a medium brown-blonde shade more recently as seen below.
Inside Lala Kent's hair color transformations
Of course, Lala has made many hair changes over the years, experimenting with lengths from short to long, as well as the shade of her hair. She's been super blonde and brunette and rocked pastel-hued hair, and everything in between.
Lala Kent talks about her natural hair color
In old throwback photos of Lala as a kid, her hair color is dirty blonde-slash-light brown. In August, Lala spoke about the changes in her natural hair color.
“I wish you could see me in person because the amount of grays that I have in this hair, I didn’t realize,” she said. “I was brushing my hair upside down the other day [and saw] I have so many grays. I’m trying to get rid of the blonde because I just am not feeling it. My hair has been so damaged over and over again that I’m just trying to get it healthy.”
Wondering what else Lala is up to these days? Well, she's been keeping busy with her two daughters, Ocean and Sosa.
Where Is Susan Boyle Now? Her Life Today 16 Years After ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ Fame

It’s been more than 15 years since Susan Boyle went viral after her singing debut on Season 3 of Britain’s Got Talent. At 47 years old, Boyle left the judges, audience, and viewers with their jaws on the floor when she sang “I Dreamed a Dream” for her audition. Her talent took her all the way to the end of the competition, and although she finished as the runner-up, she’ll always be remembered.
Boyle quickly became a prime example of why you shouldn’t judge a book by its cover. Just because she was older than the average BGT contestant and didn’t physically look like someone who might be an international superstar in the making, it didn’t mean that she wasn’t.
But was it a fleeting moment, or did it last? Scroll down for everything we know about what Boyle is up to today.
Where is Susan Boyle now?
The Scottish singer is “still actively performing and recording albums,” according to her website, which was last updated in 2021. She is signed to Simon Cowell‘s record label, Syco Entertainment, and released her most recent project, a compilation album called
Boyle returned to social media on her 64th birthday in 2025 for the first time in nearly two years. She teased “new projects” in the works following health issues that began in 2022 (more on that below). “More news will be coming very soon, but I just wanted to say how much I’ve missed you all. Your support means the world to me and I’m more determined and excited than ever,” she gushed.
Since then, she’s been much more active with her posting on Instagram, often showing off her new look and giving updates on her life.
In May 2025, she revealed that she was back in the studio for the first time since 2019. “Today was wonderful, emotional, and everything in between,” she gushed. “I made my return to the recording studio for the first time in six years, something I was told I might never achieve again. But here we are, in my happy place! I want to thank my manager, Geraldine, for being my absolute rock through everything and for helping me get back to where I belong. A million thanks.”
Boyle came from a humble upbringing in Scotland and purchased her family home in Blackburn, West Lothian, with her first check from her record label. She still lives in the home she grew up in.
Boyle competed on America’s Got Talent: The Champions in 2018. She received a golden buzzer from Mel B., which advanced her to the finals. However, she did not earn enough votes to make the Top 5. Later that year, she was meant to compete on
Is Susan Boyle married?
No, Boyle is not married and has never been married. For the most part, she keeps her personal life out of the public eye. In 2014, she revealed that she had her first boyfriend at the age of 53. The man was an American doctor whom Boyle met while on tour.
“I don’t want to say any more about who he is right now as that would be unfair on him,” she said at the time. “All I’ll say is we are around the same age, and he was a very nice guy.”
In a separate interview, she later added, “I don’t want to reveal the doctor’s name. It’s nothing serious at the moment. I will send him a picture of my weight loss – if he’s a good boy! I do enjoy male companionship.”
The relationship did not last, though. “I did have a gentleman friend, a doctor,” Boyle eventually said. “We went for lunch, but I didn’t tell anyone. But if I had a man friend, it would be purely platonic – I’ve been on my own too long now to get married.”
Does Susan Boyle have kids?
No, Boyle does not have children. “I would love to adopt a child too, but my cat might get jealous,” she once shared. “I don’t want to see a cat and a baby fighting. It’s something I might do later.”
In 2019, she also said, “Well, when things quiet down a bit, I would like to maybe go at fostering.”
What was Susan Boyle diagnosed with?
Boyle received a diagnosis of Asperger’s syndrome, a high-functioning form of autism, in 2013. She said she has depression and mood swings. “It will not make any difference to my life,” the singer assured
She was also diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes around this time and has had to be cautious about her diet. After receiving the diagnosis, she noticeably lost weight.
Boyle had a stroke in 2022, which she spoke about publicly one year later when she performed on BGT. “This evening was even more special for me as in April of 2022 I had a stroke,” she wrote on Instagram afterward. “For the past year I have worked so hard to get my speech and singing back, with the sole aim of being able to sing on stage again & tonight my hard work & perseverance paid off, singing the song that started it all, ‘I Dreamed A Dream’…”
