Teresa Giudice spoke of her hopes for a potential reconciliation with her brother, Joe Gorga, and his wife, Melissa Gorga, on the latest episode of her podcast.
As she also the shared details about a recent run-in between her daughter,
“If I tell them I want them to always get along with each other, meaning my four daughters and my stepsons, I never want them to say to me, ‘Practice what you preach,’” Teresa, 53, explained on the October 21 episode of
“I did it for my daughters and I did it for my nephews and niece. I just want peace. That’s it,” she added. “I wanna be a good influence for everyone out there. Also, if they’re going through a difficult time with their families, I want them to be able to forgive also and move on. I know sometimes it’s hard to do that, but sometimes we just do it for the kids. We want to be a good example for our children.”
Although there have been claims of a made-for-TV reunion, Teresa denied having ulterior motives.
“I don’t do things just for TV because then, the fans are gonna know. If it’s fake, I don’t know how to be fake. That’s the thing, I don’t know how to be fake,” she insisted. “I think people are going to be able to see it, so I only know how to be real. There are some people that know how to fake it, but it would be hard to fake it, and I don’t want that either.”
“I want it to be good, like if I see him, and that’s it. I don’t want no more fighting,” she continued.
Still, Teresa noted that when it came to the idea of making amends, the desire had to come from both sides.
“Both sides have to come together. So we’ll see what happens,” she stated. “I just want peace. That’s all I want. I want to be able to walk into a room and say, ‘Hi,’ to him, and him and his wife. And you know what I was thinking, too, the kids now are old enough, so if they want to see each other, they can see each other.”
After pointing out that Antonia Gorga, 20, and Gino Gorga, 18, both drive and could see their cousins if they wanted, Teresa recalled a “beautiful” meeting between Audriana and Joey.
“Audriana and Joey saw each other at a party, and when they saw each other, they were so happy and they got teary-eyed and they hugged, and I loved that so much,” she gushed. “Audriana came home and told me, and Joey had Audriana call Gia, and he left her a message on Snapchat, which I thought was so cute.”
Moving on to reports of test filming for season 15, Teresa said she’s “never tested.”
“When new people do come in, they do test. Sometimes they test them with certain housewives, but I just never had a test,” she shared. “I guess cuz I’m the original, I’m from day one, I just really never had a test with anyone.”
Also on her podcast, Teresa weighed in on Julia’s suggestion that she slept with Adriana while married to Martina Navratilova, 69.
“I was shocked,” she admitted. “That just doesn’t happen unless you want it to happen, but I saw [Julia] after that, and she seemed fine. Like, she didn’t say there was trouble with her and her wife or anything like that … Some marriages are fine with that. Some marriages are open. Some are not. So I guess whatever works for them should work for everyone else.”
“If Julia and Martina are fine with it, then that’s all that matters. No one should judge,” she added.
