Maxie’s Loved Ones Say Goodbye, Alexis Threatens Drew, and Ava Clobbers Ric!
Molly is shocked when she walks in on a shirtless Cody kissing Ava in the Quartermaine stables. She goes to rush out, but he begs her to stop and says he’s doing “this” for her.
Cody Finally Tells the Truth
Cody puts on a shirt and claims he was never into Ava, explaining that he was paid to be with her. Molly is disgusted and calls him a gigolo, but Ava assures Molly that she is not paying Cody for sex. Cody explains that Kristina was paying him to get Ava away from Ric.
Cody tells Ava that he’s sorry, but she says she’ll deal with him later and storms out. Cody swears to Molly that this was all Kristina’s idea, and in the end, he got Ric away from Ava, which is what she wanted. Molly tells him not to do her any more favors and walks out.
Kristina Also Reveals the Truth
Ric shows up at Alexis’ place to discuss business with her, but she’s out. Kristina says his business is really with her, as she knows that he’s blackmailing her mother over the mistake she made I cutting his brake lines.
Ric lashes out at her, saying it wasn’t a simple mistake. It was attempted murder, and prison is where she should be.
Kristina knows what she did was wrong, and she snapped after dealing with so much trauma over the past year. Ric reminds her that Molly lost a child and a sister, too. Ric screams at Kristina and berates her. She turns her back on him and grabs the letter opener sitting on the desk and clutches it in anger.
Kristina places it back down and tells Ric that all he does is pit her and Molly against one another, and she knows Molly would be crushed if she not only knew she accidentally almost killed him, but that he’s blackmailing their mother.
That’s when Ava appears and tells Ric they’ve both been played by Kristina, who has been working to turn them against one another. As Ava and Kristina argue, Ric tells them both that the blackmail game is over.
Was That a Death Threat?
Alexis meets Drew at the Port Charles Grill. She is hoping they can find a path forward to support Scout. A woman arrives and serves Alexis with papers. She is stunned to learn the congressman has issued a restraining order against her.
Drew says Danny, Rocco, Kristina and Molly are all being served as well. He knows she was going to try to get custody of Scout and take his daughter from him.
Across the room, Martin and Laura have dinner, and he admits he’s made an enemy of Drew. He fills her in on Drew having Stella charged with insurance fraud, all because he hates Curtis. Laura feels sorry for Scout being stuck with that man.
Martina fills his sister in that he and Drew have parted ways. She’s proud of him, but he fears he’s going to have to keep freeloading at her place a little longer.
Martin notices the drama unfolding between Alexis and Drew across the room. He tells his sister she has to beat Ezra in this election, as if not, Drew’s power will go unchecked.
Drew reminds Alexis that Sam wanted Danny with him and Scout, as stated in her will. Alexis says that was before she knew Jason was alive. As Drew lashes out that Danny is just like his thug of a father. Alexis yells at him to shut up, as she will not let him hang his despicable actions on a fifteen-year-old who misses his sister.
Molly turns up to see her mother. Alexis and Drew lash out at one another, and Drew promises Scout will never see Alexis again until she’s eighteen, if the girl even remembers her by then. Alexis warns Drew that when she’s through with him, it will be like he never existed. She tells him that if Scout does ask about him, she’ll tell her he was a good man, but he won’t be around to prove her wrong.
Lucas Delivers Bad News to Maxie's Family
At the hospital, Lucas tells Maxie’s loved ones that she’s in a coma, and this is not the best place for her any longer. Lucas says his former hospital in Boston, Mass General, is on the cutting edge of treating coma patients, and he’s arranged for Maxie to be moved there.
Spinelli begs Mac and Felicia not to send Maxie away. Felicia asks if Lucas trusts the doctors there and if Maxie will get the best care. Lucas says she won’t be taken better care of anywhere than at Mass General.
Can Brook Lynn and Lulu Keep the Peace?
At Maxie’s, Brook Lynn tells Lulu that Felicia called, and Lucas is taking Maxie to a special hospital in Boston. She wants them to bring the kids to say goodbye.
Lulu then calls Cody, who just got walked out on by Molly, and tells him that he needs to get to GH as Maxie and his family need him.
Back at the hospital, Spinelli sits with Maxie and tells her how much having a second chance with her and the kids has been the best time of his life, and he needs her to fight to wake up and come home.
Lulu, Brook Lynn, the kids, and Cody arrive. Spinelli takes Georgie in to see her mother, as Cody comforts James.
Next, Lulu and Brook Lynn ask Lucas if they can see her, and he says they can, as long as they don’t fight. They promise.
The women go in to see Maxie together. Brook Lynn tells their friend she did it, they are here together, with Lulu adding that only she could make this happen. They tell her to get better and not to worry, they’ll help take care of the kids and Spinelli.
When it comes to James’ turn to see his mom, the boy is clearly uneasy. Cody suggests they go together, claiming he’s a little scared to see her. Mac accompanies them in.
Mac tells Maxie that he knows she’ll beat this and that he loves her. He gives her a kiss on her forehead.
James remembers when his mom gave him his dad’s police badge to help him recover after he broke his arm. Now, he is giving it to her to help her. He tells her that he loves her.
Can Jason Get Through to Britt?
Britt turns up at Jason’s room at The Five Poppies. She tells him that he needs to leave, but he wants to know what she’s doing here.
Britt calls him out for flirting with that piece of Eure Trash, Greta. Jason explains he was only working Greta, who clearly wanted info on him, and he already told her the WSB is interested in this location.
He begs Britt to leave with him, promising to take her anywhere she wants. She cries that she can’t stand to look at him, as it hurts and reminds her of home. She tells him to leave and forget her. He refuses, and they come close to one another, close enough to kiss.
In the Show's Final Moments
Lucas has Maxie prepared to be taken to Boston. Felicia tells her daughter that she knows she will see her awake and alert soon. Everyone is in tears.
In Croatia, Jason tells Britt that he’ll leave on one condition and puts a burner phone into her hand. He says if she needs him, call him, and he’ll show up. She suggests he not tell Carly that and walks out in tears.
At the restaurant, Molly tells her mother she should step out and get air. Alexis tells Drew this isn’t over, but he insists it is.
Martin tells Laura that Alexis should have been more discreet, as it’s unwise to threaten Drew where others can overhear. Laura says she didn’t hear anything, and Martin laughs that he didn’t either.
Molly tells Drew that Sam would hate him for doing this, and one day, Scout will hate him too. He refuses to hear this and walks out.
At Alexis' place, Ric tells Ava this couldn’t go on forever, not with her spending habits. He reveals that all the accounts are not only locked, but empty, including the one she was secretly funneling money into.
Ava demands Ric get her money back, but he says he bought ten million in treasury bonds with it that he can’t touch. In thirty days, he’ll collect the clean and laundered money, and it will all go into his account.
Ava seethes at his betrayal, grabs a marble decorative globe, and whacks Ric over the head! He goes down, and Kristina is stunned. Ava holds the globe, which is covered in Ric’s blood.
