LOVE Island’s Shakira Khan lashed out at internet trolls for spending time with her former reality TV co-stars.
Shakira had posted a fun video of her strutting down a London street with fellow Islanders Alima Gagigo, Lauren Wood and Megan Forte Clarke, with whom she had feuded while in the Love Island villa.
The comments of the Instagram reel were quickly filled with hate comments, many of which were directed at Lauren who coupled up with Harrison Solomon while on the show, and who happens to be the ex of Shakira’s BFF, Toni Laites.
Many fans also voiced disappointment that Shakira was hanging out with other Islanders who were not Toni and their other bestie, Yas Pettet.
But Shakira was having none of it, and took to her Instagram stories to put the haters in their place.
“[Sic] If yous carry on being mean I’m gonna put you in time out,” Shakira wrote over a photo of two contestants from America’s Next Model.

Love Island fans discussed Shakira’s post and the trolling over on Reddit, after one person asked why she had posted that.
“Her post with Lauren, Megan and Alima had a lot of abuse in the comments acting like Lauren was the Anti-Christ,” responded one fan.
Another added: “Her post with Alima, Lauren, and Megan got a lot of hate for no reason. People act like Shakira is cheating on Toni and Yas by spending any time with the other girls, and from what it looked like, they were at an event. Good for her for saying something.”
A third wrote: “They were mad that she was hanging out with Lauren & leaving a bunch of mean comments toward Lauren on the video.”
And a fourth commented: “Also a lot of comments about her going around with ‘those girls’, very para-social behaviour.

Since leaving the Love Island villa, Shakira has been very busy attending exclusive events and posing for glamorous photos shoots.
Earlier last month she was spotted at a major shopping centre filming for a new reality TV series.
Shakira was seen filming The Only Way Is Essex star Joey Essex and JLS singer JB Gill were all caught on camera recording scenes for Gary Lineker‘s new gameshow The Box.
Joining the trio was ITV presenter and Lorraine stand-in host Ranvir Singh as the group filmed with a big production crew.
They appeared in high spirits as clips emerged all over TikTok after the Westquay shopping mall shoot in Southampton.

Kufrin and Jacobs first met in 2021 during Bachelor in Paradise season 7, where their journey wasn’t without its bumps. Reflecting on their reunion, Kufrin shared, “We chatted until, like, three or four in the morning some nights and just talked about any and everything... The second I saw him — I think right away he picked me up and kissed me, and then we just had unlimited time to explore what this could be.”
In 2022, the couple got engaged and married in 2023, just three weeks after welcoming their son, Benson. Kufrin has described the whirlwind romance as feeling like they were already married, saying, “In that regard, things still feel the same, and nothing’s really changed other than signing the marriage certificate.”
Kufrin has been open about her experiences with pregnancy and mental health, sharing that the decision to expand their family was a thoughtful one. Back in April, she opened up about the challenges of balancing her mental health while pregnant with Benson, noting that she had to take anxiety medication to manage hormonal shifts. "If we’re ready to do this, do I need to up that dosage?" she shared, emphasizing how important it is to care for herself so she can be the best partner, mother, and individual.
As for Jacobs, Kufrin shared how thrilled he is to be growing their family. “He’s wanted to be a dad for a long time,” she said. “Now, watching him take Benny to baseball games and teach him to play catch, it’s really, really precious. It makes it more special for me because I don’t have my dad in my life anymore.”
