"Is Jeremy About to Go Berserk? Days of Our Lives Weekly Recap (Nov 3-7)" đ±đ
It was Halloween in Salem, but unfortunately, there were no supernatural occurrences this year. The costumes were just okay, but there was nothing to write home about.
The big story happened mainly toward the end of the week when it looked like Jeremy was showing his true colors. Not only did he give Alex a vicious look, but it appeared that he took the knife meant to carve pumpkins and was going after Alex! Chances are, itâs going to turn out that he was just giving the knife to someone to use on a pumpkin, but they had to end on something shocking, right?
So there was a mild mystery surrounding Tony's disappearance. It turned out he had stepped off the cruise ship he and Anna were on to go to a meeting and supposedly missed the window to get back on before it departed for its next stop. But thatâs SUPER suspicious! Perhaps he was meeting with Dr. Rolf or whoever is hoping to use the new lab in Salem to bring Stefano back from the beyond, possibly. Or maybe he was captured and replaced with a somehow alive Andre? Something seems fishy about where he was. Inquiring minds want to know!
LOOSE ENDS
So, Leoâs annoying former co-juror, Adam, showed up for the Halloween tour of Salem. He made bad jokes like he was âdyingâ to see the ghosts. Leo was hilariously trying to be noticed by Adam, but it was too late. The guy saw him and started in with his inane banter. Things got a little out of hand as he took over the tour and decided to investigate the DiMera crypt for himself. As annoying as he is, itâs even funnier watching Leo have to deal with him, so I hope he keeps recurring as comic relief.
The story of what Jeremy is up to is slowly unfolding, and it will be interesting to see how it plays out. Is he truly reformed, or is he ready to pick up where he left off on abusing Stephanie?
EXTRA SCOOPS
REFERENCES
When Chad told Leo he was lucky that Rita didnât tase him at the construction site, Leo responded, âBe that as it may, Chadwick, that very vengeful woman, who makes the Wicked Witch of the West look like Mary Poppins, clearly told EJ about our encounter, and he can do way worse than tasering me! What if he decides to disappear me?â Iâm sure I donât need to explain these references, but just in case, the Wicked Witch is fromÂ
Abe was sharing his concerns about Theo working at DiMera Enterprises, and Kayla told him that if anyone could turn things around for the better, it would be him. She then said, âI mean, I know that may sound Pollyanna-ish, butâŠâ Abe then responded, âWell, actually, it sounds Paulina-ish.â A Pollyanna is someone who is excessively cheerful or optimistic, and comes from the name of the optimistic main character in the 1913 novel âPollyannaâ by Eleanor H. Porter. The character, Pollyanna Whittier, tries to find a reason to be optimistic in any situation, which led to her name becoming synonymous with an overly cheerful and optimistic attitude.
Jeremy told Jada, âI didnât peg you as an anime fan.â She responded, âWhat? Okay, I have been obsessed with The First Windslayer since middle school. My sister and I, weâve watched every episode at least five times.â He then asked, âWhatâd you think about the reboot?â She answered, âUgh. So disappointing,â and Jeremy felt justified saying, âThank you!â Surprisingly, this is not a real-world reference as there is no Japanese animated show with that title. Itâs likely a spoof of something likeÂ
Leo and Cat were talking about how Aaronâs going to sign away his parental rights to Tesoro. Leo then said, âMy God, when I was his age, my biggest concern was whether Take That would find an American audience. The only references I could find for something called âTake Thatâ were a 1950s Australian comedy TV show of the same name, which aired on HSV-7 in Melbourne from 1957 to 1959, or an English pop group called 'Take That' which was formed in Manchester in 1990. The group currently consists of Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, and Mark Owen. The original line-up also featured Jason Orange and Robbie Williams. That reference was beyond even my pop culture knowledge skills.
SHOT OF THE WEEK
Jeremy was not happy when Jada ended their date after they talked about how he used to date Stephanie. That was too close to home for Jada after the whole Everett/Bobby fiasco. Jeremy was walking home afterwards and threw a small pumpkin on the ground, and stood there in a cool duster just looking as mean as can be. Very well done.
TONYâS OUTFIT OF THE WEEK
Tony was missing this week! Oh no! Turns out he wasnât really, but we didnât see him. So, in honor of Halloween, weâre spotlighting Leoâs cool Jack o' lantern shirt. Or is it a sweatshirt? The shot of him in the Spectator office was nicely composed, and there wasnât a lot of clutter in the background. Yes, I know you've already seen this pic above a couple of times, but it stood out among everything else.
LINE(S) OF THE WEEK
Leo told Chad about how he snuck into EJâs construction site âand created a teeny, tiny problemâ that he needed Chadâs help with fixing. He explained that at the door to the secret lab, which had a keypad lock, âI just started randomly punching in numbers when I felt a presence behind me.â No, it wasnât a presence in the Force. He continued, âSo I turned and saw, standing there in a hard hat, your familyâs fixer.â When Chad asked if he meant Rita, Leo responded, âI mean an imperious and overwhelming troll of a woman who made me jump out of my exquisitely moisturized skin, Chadwick.â
âYou got out of there without getting tased,â Chad said later in the conversation after Leo described what happened. Hilarious.
Gwen tells EJ, âYou almost seem scared of Leo Stark, of all people.â EJ chuckled and said he wasnât scared of Leo, adding, âI just donât want that little prat to cause any trouble for us. So find out what he knows and report back.â Prat is a British way of saying incompetent or idiot. I thought it was hilarious, but that word only works when a person with a British accent says it.
Maggie was going to oust Xander from Titan, but when Philip defended him, she reminded him that Xander beat him to a bloody pulp. Philip graciously responded, âHonestly, Maggie, if the shoe were on the other foot, Iâd have tried to kill me, too.â
Chad encouraged Leo to take Gwen up on her offer to go out for a meal and find out what sheâs up to, saying, âIf nothing else, you get a free meal out of it.â That seemed right up Leoâs alley! But he was hesitant, responding, âMaybe a little arsenic in my Aperol spritz.â
Aaron was getting ready to lead a haunted tour in Salem for Halloween, and he bumped into Leo, who was a first time meeting for both. When Leo asked for a copy of what Aaronâs supposed to say as a tour guide, the young man asked if he was a reporter. Leo responded, âI normally am out exposing corruption, criminality, raking muck, as we say in the biz. But hey, itâs Halloween. Everybody loves a ghost story, right?â
When Adam saw Leo and called him âroomie,â Aaron wondered if they used to live together. Leo responded, âIf by live, you mean forced to share a minuscule hotel room with zero electronic devices, not even a stun gun I could use to zap myself into oblivion rather than listen to you [Adam] drone on about old Jimmy hiking the Appalachian Trail, then yeah.â Of course, Adam was oblivious to Leoâs barbs.
REACTION OF THE WEEK
Aaron found out that he was the father of Tesoro. Heâs so goofy, his reaction was great and very believable. Louis Tomeo should get some praise for a job well done! He played Aaronâs reaction perfectly, and as you can see in the image, he looks like he might throw up after learning the news!
RANDOM THOUGHTS
Brady took Sarah to a ârage roomâ where she could smash stuff. It was very cathartic to even just watch her smash the crap out of glassware and other stuff. She whacked a punching bag with a bat and threw tires like she was the Hulk! SARAH SMASH!
Xander admitted to Marlena that he was the one who pummeled Philip. Thatâs probably a good thing because he couldnât truly heal and change without addressing the knuckle sandwich in the room.
I know Theoâs angry at JJ, but heâs gotta get off his high horse and leave the guy alone. Itâs not like JJ is some kind of creep. Heâs an honest dude and made an honest mistake! Theo needs to leave JJ alone and focus on his own business.
Jeremy admitted to JJ that there was something from his past that he wished he could go back and undo. I wonder if heâs sincere? Doubtful.
I like the âHorton Town Scareâ name for Salemâs Halloween event. Very clever. I didnât look it up to see if thatâs what theyâve always called it, but that doesnât matter. It was super cool.
PARTING THOUGHTS
Former Bachelorette Reveals Serious Health Battle

Fans will know well that Michelle Young appeared on âThe Bachelorâ before taking on the lead role on âThe Bachelorette.â She then found love with Jack Leius and the pair got married back in June. Although the couple recently went on their honeymoon in Italy, it turns out they had to cut it short due to the fact that Michelle has been dealing with health issues.

âSo many [of you] have asked about honeymoon photos,â Michelle wrote in an Instagram Story (via Us Weekly) on Saturday, November 1. âJack and I loved the time we got to spend in Venice and Positano. Sadly, we had to end our trip seven days early because my health couldnât keep up.â
She explained, âFor the last eight months to a year, Iâve been battling with extreme fatigue, brain fog, panic attacks, heart palpitations, hypoglycemia and POTs-like symptoms.â
Michelle Thought It Was Just Wedding Stress Getting to Her
In Michelleâs Instagram Story, she noted, âAfter a number of tests came back normal, we thought it could be stress and anxiety with the wedding.â
However, months after the big day, she was still experiencing issues with her health.
âDoctors havenât been able to find anything until recently, getting the results of a Mycotoxin and Mold test showing Iâve been SEVERELY exposed,â she wrote. âMy body has been working hard to fight it all off.â
She continued, âThankfully, we did just move and know our new home is safe. But, clearly [I] was exposed to something (many things) in the past few years. Now, [I am] having to do an intense detox, along with many medications and IV therapy to help my body get rid of everything.â
Michelle Still Promised Honeymoon Photos
Michelle is aware of the fact that her friends, fans and followers would love to see photos of her honeymoon even though it was cut short. Fortunately, sheâs promised to come through for them.
âI will share the few pics we have soon but didnât get to capture as many memories as I would have liked since my health wasnât holding up,â she wrote in her Instagram Story. âI also dislike posting things like, âEverything was/has been perfectâ since it sure hasnât but also never want to add any negativity on the internet.â
She added, âAnyways, hoping to get good health back soon and head back to Italy in the spring to âredoâ some of our honeymoon.â
