Heather Dubrow Slams Katie Ginella for “[Telling] Tales” About Cast, Addresses Future on RHOC and Shares Why She Won’t Do The Traitors or Join RHOBH
Heather Dubrow believes the 19th season of The Real Housewives of Orange County is even “crazier” than past seasons.
During a recent appearance, as she also reacted to Gina Kirschenheiter, 40, suggesting she was more comfortable and joke-y this season, and shared whether she felt Katie Ginella, 41, had a future on the show, Heather, 56, accused Katie of making a habit of lying about the cast and addressed the possibility of appearing on other Bravo shows.
“It’s crazier than ever, and what’s really insane about this season is sometimes there’s a story, right? It takes us through the whole season, and it’s kind of a who-done-it, and we see what happens at the end. This is like a series of mini-series, all just lined up. Just when you think we’ve resolved and we’re good, something completely different happens,” Heather shared on E! News.
After hearing that Gina had recently described her as a “new Heather,” Heather revealed why that was the case.
“Since I’ve come back in the last few years, this is the first season no one popped off by lying about me. So you know what? Makes a girl a little more relaxed,” she explained.
Moving on to Katie, after it was noted that Gina said she might leave the show if she returned, Heather was asked if she felt it would be possible for Katie to be part of season 20.
“Who knows?” she asked, citing the changing relationships between the women. “I don’t think any of us make those decisions.”
That said, Heather did express a major problem with Katie amid her many feuds with her castmates and blogger interaction.
“The root of all of this is someone who tells tales about all of us, and that’s the problem: It wasn’t a one-off,” she noted.
Then, after suggesting she wouldn’t be open to a role on The Traitors because you “have to go to a rainy place for months,” Heather shot down rumors of a potential crossover to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
“It would be a shorter commute for sure, but I love my O.C. girls. They’re my friends, and I’m not going anywhere,” she declared.
The Real Housewives of Orange County season 19 airs Thursdays at 9/8c on Bravo.
