She also cut ties with the cast, unfollowing her RHOBH co-stars on social media. Recently, Garcelle made the press rounds to promote her new Lifetime movie Taken At A Truck Stop: A Black Girl Missing Story, the latest in her successful partnership with the network. This coincided with Bravo beginning to promote the new RHOBH season. Naturally, Garcelle was asked about her former reality show. And instead of pleading the fifth, she shared a lot!

Time and time again, Garcelle has emphasized that she has no regrets about leaving the show. And, considering she cut ties with nearly every cast member, Garcelle isn’t worried about burning bridges. Garcelle confirms the RHOBH Season 14 reunion was the final straw

In multiple interviews, Garcelle confirmed what many Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers suspected. Namely, that she was done with the show when she walked off the reunion stage. While Garcelle stayed to film the whole reunion, she refused to take the group photo. As cameras followed her offstage, we saw Garcelle blowing off steam about the other Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Ultimately, she deemed them “assholes.”

On The Breakfast Club, Garcelle said RHOBH was “hurting my spirit.” And that she decided not to come back because “physically, mentally, and spiritually, I couldn’t do it anymore.”

In an interview with Us Weekly, Garcelle specified, “I felt like time was coming up, but definitely the reunion was the last straw for me … that was like, ‘I don’t belong here anymore.'” On Smith Sisters Live, she said, “The reunion was very clear to me. I didn’t have an ally anywhere.”

Garcelle confirms her friendship with Sutton Stracke is over

Speaking to Us Weekly, Garcelle admitted that she did miss the friendships she made on RHOBH, because some of them were real. Throughout her time on the show, Garcelle developed a very close friendship with Sutton Stracke. However, it was clear she felt abandoned by Sutton at the RHOBH Season 14 reunion.

On Watch What Happens Live, Garcelle confirmed their friendship is over for good. That was partially because Sutton didn’t have her back at the reunion. But Garcelle also shared that afterwards, Sutton called her, and “still never took accountability for it.” And that was the final straw. Garcelle continued, “And that hurt my feelings a lot. We were really close.” So close, in fact, that Garcelle’s sons would even call Sutton.

Still, when it comes to their friendship, Garcelle says she has no regrets and will “look back on it fondly.” She added, “We were there for each other, mostly me for her.” Ouch, but many RHOBH fans would agree with that assessment.

To Us Weekly, Garcelle also laughed about the comments that she got Avi Gabay in the divorce. Fans were thrilled to see Sutton’s former assistant pose with Garcelle at her movie premiere. She gushed, “He’s a really great guy, and we really bonded during the show.”

Garcelle reveals she’d return to RHOBH if Erika Jayne left

On The Breakfast Club, Garcelle deemed Erika Jayne and Bozoma Saint John “mean girls” for the way they reacted to her exit. Then on WWHL, Garcelle was asked if any RHOBH star’s exit would make her consider returning to the show. She joked that she’d have to think about it before crying out, “Erika!”

That may seem harsh, but not if you’re familiar with Erika and Garcelle’s history. After all, Erika joked about throwing Garcelle’s book in the trash. And, most egregiously, cursed out Garcelle’s sons, including her then-14-year-old Jax, at an event.

For a time, these two tried to get along. They even shared a kiss! But Erika couldn’t resist getting in some digs about things like Garcelle’s dating life. Garcelle clapped back, which made Erika up the ante. At the reunion, she told Garcelle, “I wish you were more interesting.” Bold to say consider Erika’s RHOBH Season 14 storyline was about wallpaper, but I digress. Now that Garcelle doesn’t have to film with Erika anymore, it’s doubtful these two will kiss and make up again.

Garcelle reveals when RHOBH stopped being fun

The Season 14 reunion was Garcelle’s final straw. But an incident two seasons before already started to sour her on the RHOBH experience. “Jax was getting trolled and really just, viciously,” Garcelle recalled to Smith Sister Live, “That was hard. And then he just said, ‘I don’t want to go back.’ And I said, ‘I completely understand and respect that.'” Her other son Jaid agreed to keep doing the show. However, she explained, because her teenage sons were trolled, “And then it just became, it just wasn’t fun for me anymore.”

Which RHOBH ex husbands did Garcelle run into?

While Garcelle cut ties with every Real Housewife of Beverly Hills, she had a surprisingly friendly interaction with two estranged husbands. Garcelle revealed that she ran into Mauricio Umansky and PK Kemsley. When they saw each other, PK asked, “Garcelle, on a scale of one to ten, how do you feel” about leaving the show. Garcelle responded, “I said, ’30,’ and they started cracking up.”

Viewers may be surprised to hear that she joked around with PK. After all, Garcelle made waves for her shady comments about the robbery. But it seems PK has no hard feelings about that. Dorit Kemsley, on the other hand, probably won’t joke around with Garcelle any time soon.
