Garcelle Beauvais on Leaving RHOBH
Garcelle Beauvais first joined the cast of “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” in 2020, making her the first black woman in the franchise. Ahead of the season 14 reunion episodes, in March 2025, the actress confirmed that it was time for her to exit the Bravo series.
“There was a moment where I felt like I no longer belonged here,” she said in a recent interview with Variety. “I no longer fit in here. It was definitely a moment of like, ‘This is not for me.’ It just didn’t feel right.”
Garcelle Has No Regrets About Her RHOBH Exit

While Garcelle decided that it was time to dip out of reality television, she certainly made her mark on it. In December 2024, Variety chose her as one of last year’s 30 most powerful women of reality TV because of how, during her five seasons on RHOBH, she “managed to both stir the pot and rise above it.”
Still, months after her departure, the actress has no regrets whatsoever about her exit. “As great an opportunity as it was to be on the ‘Housewives,’ it was also heavy on my spirit. Walking away has given me my power back. It’s given me a sense of freedom, and I’m in a good headspace. I want to create. I want to spend time with my family and friends. We live in a crazy world right now, and anywhere you can find joy and hold on to it for a bit is where we should all go. I am enjoying joy, peace, and my life at this point,” explains Beauvais.
Garcelle Prioritized Herself Over Reality Television

Garcelle announced her exit ahead of the reunion, but once all three episodes aired, her departure was easier to understand. Rather than choosing to take a cast photo with the other ladies, she walked off the set instead. Garcelle now says that in that particular moment, she prioritized herself and did what she needed to do.
Once she left the series, Garcelle then unfollowed several of her former cast members. She even cut ties with Sutton Stracke, with whom she was once close friends. Garcelle hasn’t ruled out the possibility of making an appearance again on RHOBH, but joining as a cast member seems pretty unlikely.
‘RHOA’ star Porsha Williams hinted she would ‘get with a woman’ months before dating bombshell

Porsha Williams predicted she would “get with a woman” post-divorce months before her dating bombshell.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star told People in June that she didn’t “like nobody” following her split from ex-husband Simon Guobadia.
The Bravolebrity, 44, claimed that this happens when people go through a “bad enough breakup.”
She noted, “I was sitting here [asking], ‘Do I like women enough? Can I get with a woman? Who can come and fill this void? Like, somebody?’
“I have got to be able to sit with someone and feel a part of what I felt with him,” Williams continued at the time. “But I don’t yet.”
Four months later, the reality star confessed to CultureCon attendees she is dating both a man and a woman after “narrow[ing] down” her options.
Audience members gasped over the declaration, with one loudly calling Williams “bold.”
She laughed before explaining that the individuals, whom she did not identify by name, are both “nice” and “normal” people who “challenge” her.
Williams said, “I’m having a hard time opening up because they’re not narcissists. I have to soften up a bit. I have to not expect a whole lot of elaborate things … I have to expect someone to call me out from time to time.”
She railed against the previous “love bombing” she experienced, seemingly referencing her 61-year-old ex.
Reps for Williams and Guobadid have yet to respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
The former couple got engaged in 2021 after dating for a month and tied the knot in November of the following year.
Williams filed to end their union in February 2024, and the divorce was settled this June.
Social media users shared mixed reactions to Williams moving on, with some writing that they are “happy for her” dating a woman and others pointing out “Kandi [Burruss] done told y’all all along.”
Burruss, notably, alleged that Williams “hook[ed] up with girls from time to time” in a February 2017 episode of “RHOA” — after claiming Williams offered to have sex with her after a dance floor makeout.
“I know it, she knows it,” the singer claimed at the time. “Baby girl — we in the same boat together. It’s like she and I have shared a secret that nobody else knew.”
Williams denied this, saying, “If I did like a bitch, you not my type — believe that. I’m not into tea cups, short and stout, bitch.”
She later accused Burruss and her husband, Todd Tucker, of trying to drug her and co-star Shamea Morton for sex.
During the Season 9 reunion, however, Phaedra Parks admitted to spreading the rumor, which came from an unnamed source and not Burruss herself — which led Williams to issue a tearful apology.
“That’s so awful,” she said. “I swear to God, Kandi, I would never ever say something like that to you if it wasn’t told to me in truth in confidence.”
Parks, 51, was subsequently axed from the show.
