Former ‘Teen Mom’ Star Farrah Abraham to Appear in New A&E Docuseries About Celebrity S.e.x Tapes

Farrah Abraham is set to make another return to TV– this time, in the upcoming A&E docuseries Secrets of Celebrity Sex Tapes, where the former ‘Teen Mom’ will discuss her 2013 sex tape, Backdoor Teen Mom, which she filmed with p0rn star James Deen and then proclaimed that the obviously professionally made tape was “leaked.”
According to the network, the eight-episode docuseries will offer “an in-depth exploration of some of the most infamous celebrity sex tapes of our time,” while examining how something that was once considered “scandalous tabloid fodder,” became something that “sparked public fascination and profound shifts in pop culture.”

“The exposure of these deeply intimate and private moments not only reshaped the cultural landscape, pushing boundaries and sparking backlash, but also became turning points in the lives of those who were featured in them, catapulting some into fame while derailing others,” the show’s description reads.
One of the eight episodes in the upcoming docuseries will focus on Farrah’s sex tape, which the self-proclaimed “Top Female Celebrity in Our Nation” initially tried to pass off as a “leaked” video, despite enlisting a well-known adult film star to serve as her co-star for the skin flick.

(P0rn star James Deen confirmed in a 2013 interview with The Ashley that Farrah tried to pass the Backdoor Blockbuster off as an amateur home video and that the company behind the tape even tried to get him to pretend that he and Farrah were dating so that the tape could be leaked as a “boyfriend/girlfriend sort of thing.” However, he refused to play along with Farrah’s shenanigans and told the truth about the tape being professionally made and then “leaked.”)
In the trailer for ‘Secrets of Celebrity Sex Tapes,’ viewers see Farrah being asked by a producer if her sex tape was “originally made to be released”; while we don’t hear Farrah’s response to the question, the clip goes on to show Farrah wiping tears from her face while making eye contact with the camera.

Throughout the docuseries, viewers will also hear the stories behind the sex tapes of Pamela Anderson and Tommy Lee, Kim Kardashian, Colin Farrell, Katie Hill, Mimi Faust and Dustin Diamond.

The docuseries will include interviews from some of the people involved in the sex tapes, as well as never-before-heard secrets and shocking details that “expose the dark side of our culture to unpack the public’s response to scandal, consent, sexism, sexuality, racism and homophobia.”
‘Secrets of Celebrity Sex Tapes’ premieres Monday, September 8 on A&E. The docuseries will also be available on demand and to stream on the A&E app and website. Watch the trailer below.
