RHONJ’s Dolores Catania Reveals House Got Broken Into: ‘They Came in With a Blowtorch’

Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania appears to be in the dark about casting for the show. RHONJ has been in a deep freeze since a dismal Season 14. There were rumors that the show might be rebooted or that some cast members might return.
There were even whispers that Dolores, Margaret Josephs, and Melissa Gorga were returning for Season 15. However, Dolores has stayed tight-lipped on the matter. “This is what they say, ‘No decisions have been made yet,’” Dolores previously stated. Welp, who needs reality TV drama when Dolores and her boyfriend, Paul Connell, are dealing with a real-life horror story.
Dolores Catania and boyfriend Paulie Connell were in Rhode Island during the home invasion
During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, Dolores and Paulie opened up about the scary incident. “Our house got broken into last week. Yes, or two weeks ago,” Dolores stated. “They came in with a blowtorch.”
Of course, host Jeff Lewis asked, “What happened? How’d they get in? Dolores explained, “We were in Rhode Island, and as I told you before, I would be doing some cameos on the new [Real]Housewives of Rhode Island, and we were filming, and Paul had his phone off … He was drinking tequila, and my phone was going off, and I saw it was his son.” Paul’s son quickly explained that the house had been broken into.
“So, apparently, they came in with a blowtorch. They broke the window,” Dolores stated. “They heated it so that it wouldn’t set off the alarm, so it shatters without setting off the alarm. And then he has like the most insane alarm system.” The alarm system scared away the thieves, and they didn’t take any of the couple’s belongings. Plus, the police arrived in 20 seconds. Impressive!
Meanwhile, the duo learned a lesson. “Paul posted that day that we were in Rhode Island,” Dolores said. “And that night we got broken into.”
