The Golden Bachelor’s Nicolle Kate Briscoe May Have Just Become the Wildest Villain in Years
Fans who tuned into The Golden Bachelor for a more wholesome experience have been thrown a curveball with the most on-the-nose Bachelor villain in years: Nicolle Kate Briscoe.
Nicolle (yes, with two Ls!) is a 64-year-old yoga instructor from Miami Beach whose journey on
On the Wednesday, October 8, episode of the ABC show, however, she turned things up a notch by flat out saying she wasn’t on the show for — gasp! — the right reasons.
“I told myself from the beginning, I’m not dating Mel. I’m dating America,” Nicolle whispered to a costar on Wednesday’s episode. “I’m dating everybody watching and not watching. That gives you exposure like you’ve never had.”
The show then cut to a loud and proud Nicolle teaching her fellow contestants how to become influencers after joining Bachelor Nation.
“We’re going to have Housewives status,” she declared.
Things got nasty when she dragged the OG Golden Bachelor cast with her commentary.
“Now, we’re not on for season after season after season the way Housewives of Beverly Hills or OC or whatever is, but if they’re smart with the way the publicity goes with our beautiful — I’m sorry but the last cast, they weren’t so great looking …” she said before describing her own social media goals. “My Instagram is mostly just healthy, plant-based recipes, but I would love to be a spokeswoman for mid-life, beauty products or health-oriented products. I would become more and more of an influencer.”
While the edit didn’t show many of the reactions from the women, one cast member was heard saying, “I just want a nice guy.”
Listen, we’re not saying that it’s a new concept for Bachelor/Bachelorette contestants (of any age) to be looking for some fame after appearing on reality TV, but the least they can do is pretend to be interested in the lead!
In fact, the winners in most couples across the franchise admit that they weren’t totally convinced the show would work (and/or were slightly more invested in the travel, making friends or yes, exposure) but they at least gave it a shot and could say finding love (albeit often temporary) was a bonus.
And if Nicolle committing a Bachelor sin wasn’t enough, later in the episode, she took full credit for the lemon bars that several members of the group made for Mel. To quote Stephanie Tanner (she has two adult children, I’m sure she caught a few episodes of
While we will have to wait to see how Nicolle reacts to the show fully exposing her influencer dreams (I hope she learns her own lemon bar recipe if she plans on sharing one!), her comments about the backlash to her actions in the first few episodes (which again, harmless and classic if you ask
“Ultimately, I didn’t give a s***,” she said. “I really didn’t. I was having fun. It’s my journey. It’s my story, and they should have theirs. And I honestly feel like they were just really jealous.”
Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry’s father Raymond d.e.a.d at 66 as she breaks down in tears over their ‘emotional’ final words

TEEN Mom Kailyn Lowry has revealed her father Raymond died at the age of 66 following a health battle.
The MTV alum opened up about grieving the loss of her estranged dad in Friday’s episode of her Barely Famous podcast.
Kailyn, 33, broke down in tears while contemplating her feelings about her father’s death, whom she had only met for the second time two weeks earlier.
Raymond was in hospice after suffering from stage four COPD, which is a lung disease that causes breathing problems.
The TV personality recalled getting a phone call from her aunt, revealing that he’d died, exactly 14 days after she flew to Dallas, Texas, to confront him at his bedside.
Kailyn admitted that she felt differently about her father’s death than she would about her mother, Suzi, whom she was also estranged from, if she died.

“It’s kind of interesting because I’m telling people that if they have that feeling to reconnect with someone to go do it, but I don’t have that for my mom,” the former reality star confessed.
“It doesn’t make me contemplate. It doesn’t make me want to change my mind. The only thing that I’d want to go talk to her about is sort of confront her with the information that my dad left me, and I believe him.”
Kailyn dove further into her visit with her father in a Patreon video released on Thursday, but she revealed on her podcast that her feelings toward her father had changed after learning he’d tried to see her, despite his 30-year absence from her life.
The mom of seven shared that she recently learned that her father’s distance from her was “court-ordered” after he “kidnapped” her as a child.
She also revealed the questions she asked her dad and what she learned about her half-siblings, and she’s currently waiting for the results of a DNA test he took to learn more about her family.
‘I’M SO EMOTIONAL ABOUT IT’
After previously admitting that she wouldn’t attend a funeral if there were one, Kailyn shared that her father was being cremated, per the TV star’s request, and she’s planning to gather with her family in Texas to honor his life in November.

Kailyn’s co-host, Kristen Hook, then asked the Pennsylvania native how she’s feeling, overall, since her father’s death, which prompted more tears from the podcaster.
“Monday was really hard for me. And it was weird because I’d cry and then I’d be fine and then I would cry and then I’d be fine as if nothing was happening,” Kailyn explained.
“But it’s weird because I do feel disconnected from him, but I’m so emotional about it, and I’m having a hard time understanding that part of it because I don’t understand why I’m emotional about it when I haven’t had a relationship with him my whole life, so I really don’t know.”
Kailyn later reflected on how her kids took their grandfather’s passing, and said they “didn’t know he existed,” and thought he was already dead.
The Teen Mom 2 alum is a mother to a son, Elliot, 14, with her ex, Jo Rivera; a son, Lincoln, 11, with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin; sons Lux, 7, and Creed, 4, with her ex, Chris Lopez; and a son, Rio, 2, and fraternal twins, Verse and Valley, 1, with her ex-fiancé, Elijah Scott.
Ramond also apparently didn’t have many feelings toward them either, as Kailyn revealed she showed him a picture of her children during their visit, only to be met with an unexpected reaction.
“I showed Raymond pictures of my kids and he said nothing,” the Coffee Convos podcast host recalled. “He literally said nothing. And I was like, ‘Are you gonna say anything?’ And he’s like, ‘What do you want me to say?’ That’s how matter-of-fact he is.”
THE FINAL VISIT
When she reflected again on her final visit with her dad, Kailyn confessed it was “closure,” though she didn’t feel they would’ve had a relationship had he lived longer.
She also revealed one of the last words her father told her: “You still look mad” at the end of their two-hour reunion.
“If I would’ve just had the opportunity to tell him that I’m not mad anymore, I really appreciate the time that you gave me…I don’t know if that would’ve made a difference for him or not,” Kailyn tearfully said.
“It’s more that piece of it is more for me, just to let him know that I’m not mad anymore, that part of it, that sucks.”

Fans were first introduced to Kailyn on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant, where viewers watched her meet her father for the first time.
The father-daughter pair didn’t see each other again until this past visit.
