'Southern Charm' star Venita Aspen accuses producers of making her look like a 'homewrecker' for JT storyline
“Southern Charm” star Venita Aspen called out show producers for making her look like a “homewrecker” after she learned her crush Jarrett “JT” Thomas had a girlfriend.
The TV personality took to her Instagram Stories Saturday to allege producers altered the timeline of when they filmed scenes between her and Thomas, claiming she wouldn’t have continued pursuing her co-star if she had known he was taken.
“Let me make something VERY CLEAR,” she wrote.”That dinner JT and I had after I made a Branzino was AFTER the Bahamas y’all as an audience saw it BEFORE. So this week’s episode is now making me look like I’m a home wrecker [sic] when I’m not.”
“I know what I signed up for but I also will not allow the world to think I’m that woman when I’m not,” Aspen, 31, added.
Reps for Bravo weren’t immediately available to Page Six for comment.
The intimate Branzino dinner between the Bravo stars aired on Feb. 6, and it showed the two discussing their chemistry before Thomas dropped the bombshell that he was dating someone new.
“Do I know we had chemistry? Am I extremely attracted to you? Yes,” Thomas told Aspen, before adding, “But, I’m just being real, I’m seeing someone.”
“I won’t say I knew he had a girlfriend, I can say I knew he was talking to someone but it wasn’t a ‘this is who I’m dating,'” Aspen said in a confessional.
“I’m equally part angry and equally part sad, ’cause how long have we been flirting?”
Later in the episode, Aspen told Thomas she wasn’t a homewrecker.

The following episodes in the season then show the cast taking a trip to the Bahamas.
A preview of an upcoming episode from the trip shows Aspen giddy while telling her co-stars she’s been receiving long text messages from Thomas.
“He has feelings for you? Like more than a friend, or no?” a castmate asked Aspen, to which the latter nodded and grinned.
During an episode of Nick Viall’s “The Viall Files” podcast released on Tuesday, Aspen alleged she was attacked online by the woman Thomas was dating when the Season 10 trailer was released.
“We dated, I guess, for like two months,” she explained. “And then the super-teaser drops and this woman decides to annihilate me on social media.”
“That he was dating, that I was unaware of. And basically, like, calls me out on my name. And I was just like, ‘Hey, I don’t what’s going on with this. I need you to put a handle on it.’ And he was like, ‘I can’t do anything about it.’”
Red Wings-Maple Leafs game moved up to circumvent ALCS

Planning on watching the Detroit Red Wings take on the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday as the team goes on the road for the first time in 2025-26? Then you need to plan on watching the contest a little earlier, as the Wings and Leafs will face off at 2 p.m., as opposed to the original start time of 4 p.m.
This is to keep the game from clashing with Game 2 of the ALCS between the Toronto Blue Jays and the Seattle Mariners. Therefore, fans in T-Town will get to watch their favorite hockey team play and then the baseball game, giving them a double header.
— Chris Johnston (@reporterchris) October 10, 2025The NHL has moved up the start time of Monday's Leafs-Red Wings game to 2 p.m. to avoid going head to head with Game 2 of the ALCS hosted by the Blue Jays.
Fans are invited to stay in their seats at Scotiabank Arena to watch the baseball game, too
Of course, the Wings would like for nothing more than to spoil the fans' gameday experience at Scotiabank Arena and score a win in their road opener. Detroit needs a couple of bounce-back performances following their embarrassing loss to Montreal on Thursday, and they will get a crack at the Leafs on Saturday in their home arena before the two teams continue their early-season series in Ontario.
Detroit Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs will square off early on Monday, October 13
If the Wings can score a victory over Toronto on Monday, regardless of the outcome Saturday, it will be a massive momentum shift for them. It's the only roadie on the slate until October 22nd, and the three-game homestand that will follow comprises matchups against the defending Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers, the Tampa Bay Lightning, and the defending Western Conference Champion, the Edmonton Oilers.
It's a brutal slate of games, and it will test a young team that needs it if the loss to the Habs serves as any indication. So, Wings fans, let's hope for a big win on Monday, and that it will help the team keep rightening some wrongs that let the Habs steal an easy win.
