Shedeur Sanders Sparks 49ers Trade Buzz After San Francisco’s Bold Roster Shake-Up
Shedeur Sanders, Cleveland Browns quarterback, might soon play for the San Francisco 49ers according to renowned journalist Grant Cohn’s latest tweet. Cohn’s post comes as the 49ers are revealed to have let go of quarterback Carter Bradley and quarterback Tanner Mordecai.
With the team definitely having a lesser number of quarterbacks when compared to before, rumors have been going around that the team might be interested in a talented quarterback like Shedeur Sanders. Sanders is currently QB3 in the Cleveland Browns camp, with Joe Flacco being the starting quarterback and rookie Dillon Gabriel being the backup quarterback.
“The 49ers are going to trade for Shedeur Sanders aren’t they.” Grant Cohn shared about Shedeur Sanders and the San Francisco 49ers from his X account.
Shedeur Sanders has been pretty impressive in this preseason for the Cleveland Browns, although many feel that head coach Kevin Stefanski did not give Deion Sanders’ youngest son the opportunities he deserves. Sanders managed to score two touchdowns in the first preseason game, did not play in the second one and only played briefly in the preseason finale.
Soon after the game ended, the Browns announced that they had released Tyler Huntley and traded away Kenny Pickett. The moves immediately makes rookie Dillon Gabriel as backup quarterback to veteran Joe Flacco, with Shedeur Sanders’ position in the team currently in doubt.
Shedeur Sanders Gets Blessing From Father Deion Sanders
Despite Shedeur Sanders struggling to find his footing in the NFL, the quarterback definitely has the makings of a promising career in the league. Sanders’ father, Deion ‘Coach Prime’ Sanders, is not at all worried about his future and that of his brother, Shilo Sanders, who recently was released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In a recent press conference, Deion Sanders remarked that he is definitely sure that both Shilo and Shedeur will do well, with or without football.

“All of the Sanders’ are going to be straight, with or without football.” Deion Sanders said about his family in a recent press conference.
Shedeur Sanders’ future hangs in doubt with the Cleveland Browns leaving him out of the roster for the upcoming NFL season. Still, many fans and analysts know only too well that the quarterback’s career in the league is just to kick off. The only thing that Sanders needs right now is a team which is ready to believe in him and give him the right opportunities to prove himself on the field.
