Melissa Gorga Wants to Keep Possible Reunion With Teresa Giudice ‘Private’

Melissa Gorga is ready to reunite with her long-estranged sister-in-law, Teresa Giudice, but she wants to keep it off-camera—at least for now.
In a new interview, “The Real Housewives of New Jersey” star told Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea that the family needs to hash things out with an “authentic and real” conversation without Bravo standing by. “We haven’t ever had a chance to have anything private … so I’m going to keep this part private for right now,” Gorga said. “We’ll see how it goes.”
The mom of three admitted that the estrangement, which has also affected both her kids and Giudice’s, “isn’t normal” and that she wants to show her kids that this is “no way to live.”
“This has to get fixed,” she added. “God forbid something ever happens. Everybody needs to be able to speak to one another.”
“This was never a line that I was drawing in the sand,” Gorga added. “The truth is, I’m always going to be Team Family. There’s no way I would ever not want that for Joe.”
The Envy boutique owner also admitted she never thought she could get to a place where a reconciliation with Giudice could be possible. “I don’t know how any of this is happening, but it happens,” she said. “We’ll see what happens.”

Much of the Gorga and Giudice family drama was caught on camera in past seasons of RHONJ. Things came to a head when the Gorgas skipped Giudice’s wedding to Luis Reulas in 2022. The feuding family members refused to film together for Season 14.
During an episode of her “Turning the Tables” podcast, Giudice announced there was no chance of a reconciliation with her brother Joe and his wife. “We’re done, we’re done. We’re never making up. That’s never going to happen,” she said.
In 2024, Giudice also confirmed to PIX11’s ‘New York Living” that the break from her family members was “permanent.”
Fans were stunned then, when, during a September 2025 appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, Giudice hinted that she could possibly co-exist with the Gorgas. “I mean, never say never,” she told host Jeff Lewis. “I mean, I guess we would, you know, have to see. …We’ll see what happens. … you just have to kind of let it go and move on.”
She elaborated in an October 2025 interview with Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea, noting, “Time heals always — because then you forget,” Giudice told the outlet. “ Like, you’re angry when it first happens. But now, it’s been … I’m married three years. So it’s been three years. [They] didn’t come to my wedding, so we haven’t spoken in three years.”

Shortly after Giudice made her comments about the potential for a reconciliation, Melissa Gorga told Page Six it came out of nowhere. “The truth is, for the last year, the door has been closed. [Giudice] has said out loud on multiple platforms, podcasts, whatever it might be, that the door is closed,” Gorga said in September. “So, the truth is, I’m just confused why it might be opening or cracking a little bit.”
“Neither of us have had any contact in probably two years at this point, so that’s just so strange to come out with that out of nowhere,” Gorga added.
Giudice’s apparent change of tune came amid rumors that Gorga has test-filmed with potential new cast members for the upcoming season of RHONJ, while Giudice was not asked to film.
