Oliver Stark Clarifies Buck's Feelings For Eddie After 9-1-1 Season 9 Premiere
9-1-1 season 9 finds Buck in an uncertain place following the death of his mentor and father figure, Bobby. The premiere sees the 118 try to acclimate to life after Bobby, and it seems that a burgeoning friendship between Hen and Eddie is set to cause some friction between him and Buck.
In an interview with EW, Stark spoke about how Buck's feelings about Eddie and Hen's growing friendship shine a light on the characters' dynamics, and how big changes in Buck's life are causing him turmoil since Bobby's passing. He confirms that Buck loves Eddie, but longs for the stability he used to know. Check out Stark's comments below:
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: How did you choose to interpret Buck's issues with Eddie and Hen's deepening friendship?
OLIVER STARK: I think it's not from a malicious place. I mean, I know it's not from a malicious place. But I don't even think it's from the same place that it would've been had this been two, three, four seasons ago. I think it's just a compounding effect of Buck already being in a vulnerable place post-Bobby, and now something else that he's used to is not feeling the same. You know, Buck loves him. He loves Eddie. He loves everybody at the 118. He's more than happy for everybody at the 118 to be friendly amongst themselves. But just because everything else is feeling unstable, this is almost the straw that breaks the camel's back for him. So yeah, he pokes fun at it, and he makes his feelings known, but he's just struggling a little bit and trying to cling onto the things that he knows.
Stark's comments reveal a lot about Buck's state of mind at the start of season 9, and it is understandable that he would be struggling to come to terms with Bobby's death in
Eddie is the major constant in his life, and their friendship is something he could count on. While Eddie and Hen being friends doesn't change things with Buck, it does, as Stark states, introduce a variable that changes the dynamic of their relationship, and what Buck needs right now is constants.
Buck is certainly going to be struggling with his career and his life, and will need to make big decisions moving forward on how he is going to let this impact him. Whether his current state of being will drive a wedge between Buck and Eddie's relationship long-term is unclear, but things could get rocky for the two friends moving forward.
Teen Mom Kailyn Lowry’s father Raymond d.e.a.d at 66 as she breaks down in tears over their ‘emotional’ final words

TEEN Mom Kailyn Lowry has revealed her father Raymond died at the age of 66 following a health battle.
The MTV alum opened up about grieving the loss of her estranged dad in Friday’s episode of her Barely Famous podcast.
Kailyn, 33, broke down in tears while contemplating her feelings about her father’s death, whom she had only met for the second time two weeks earlier.
Raymond was in hospice after suffering from stage four COPD, which is a lung disease that causes breathing problems.
The TV personality recalled getting a phone call from her aunt, revealing that he’d died, exactly 14 days after she flew to Dallas, Texas, to confront him at his bedside.
Kailyn admitted that she felt differently about her father’s death than she would about her mother, Suzi, whom she was also estranged from, if she died.

“It’s kind of interesting because I’m telling people that if they have that feeling to reconnect with someone to go do it, but I don’t have that for my mom,” the former reality star confessed.
“It doesn’t make me contemplate. It doesn’t make me want to change my mind. The only thing that I’d want to go talk to her about is sort of confront her with the information that my dad left me, and I believe him.”
Kailyn dove further into her visit with her father in a Patreon video released on Thursday, but she revealed on her podcast that her feelings toward her father had changed after learning he’d tried to see her, despite his 30-year absence from her life.
The mom of seven shared that she recently learned that her father’s distance from her was “court-ordered” after he “kidnapped” her as a child.
She also revealed the questions she asked her dad and what she learned about her half-siblings, and she’s currently waiting for the results of a DNA test he took to learn more about her family.
‘I’M SO EMOTIONAL ABOUT IT’
After previously admitting that she wouldn’t attend a funeral if there were one, Kailyn shared that her father was being cremated, per the TV star’s request, and she’s planning to gather with her family in Texas to honor his life in November.

Kailyn’s co-host, Kristen Hook, then asked the Pennsylvania native how she’s feeling, overall, since her father’s death, which prompted more tears from the podcaster.
“Monday was really hard for me. And it was weird because I’d cry and then I’d be fine and then I would cry and then I’d be fine as if nothing was happening,” Kailyn explained.
“But it’s weird because I do feel disconnected from him, but I’m so emotional about it, and I’m having a hard time understanding that part of it because I don’t understand why I’m emotional about it when I haven’t had a relationship with him my whole life, so I really don’t know.”
Kailyn later reflected on how her kids took their grandfather’s passing, and said they “didn’t know he existed,” and thought he was already dead.
The Teen Mom 2 alum is a mother to a son, Elliot, 14, with her ex, Jo Rivera; a son, Lincoln, 11, with her ex-husband, Javi Marroquin; sons Lux, 7, and Creed, 4, with her ex, Chris Lopez; and a son, Rio, 2, and fraternal twins, Verse and Valley, 1, with her ex-fiancé, Elijah Scott.
Ramond also apparently didn’t have many feelings toward them either, as Kailyn revealed she showed him a picture of her children during their visit, only to be met with an unexpected reaction.
“I showed Raymond pictures of my kids and he said nothing,” the Coffee Convos podcast host recalled. “He literally said nothing. And I was like, ‘Are you gonna say anything?’ And he’s like, ‘What do you want me to say?’ That’s how matter-of-fact he is.”
THE FINAL VISIT
When she reflected again on her final visit with her dad, Kailyn confessed it was “closure,” though she didn’t feel they would’ve had a relationship had he lived longer.
She also revealed one of the last words her father told her: “You still look mad” at the end of their two-hour reunion.
“If I would’ve just had the opportunity to tell him that I’m not mad anymore, I really appreciate the time that you gave me…I don’t know if that would’ve made a difference for him or not,” Kailyn tearfully said.
“It’s more that piece of it is more for me, just to let him know that I’m not mad anymore, that part of it, that sucks.”

Fans were first introduced to Kailyn on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant, where viewers watched her meet her father for the first time.
The father-daughter pair didn’t see each other again until this past visit.
