James Van Der Beek Goes All Out for Halloween with Wife Kimberly and Their 6 Children
James Van Der Beek is celebrating Halloween with his family.
The Dawson's Creek alum, 48, dressed as the Phantom of the Opera from the eponymous musical, as seen in a photo his wife, Kimberly Van Der Beek, shared to commemorate the holiday on Instagram.
“Happy Halloween!!!!” Kimberly captioned the family portrait, which showed off the varied costumes that the couple and their six children wore for the Friday, Oct. 31, occasion.
Kimberly dressed up as a fox, while their kids’ costumes ranged from the Statue of Liberty to more traditionally spooky looks.
The pair share four daughters, Olivia, 15, Annabel, 11, Emilia, 9, and Gwendolyn, 6, and two sons, Joshua, 13, and Jeremiah, 4.

The mom of six also shared some more close-up snaps of the family’s costumes — which they seemingly took out on the town for some trick-or-treating — on her Instagram Stories.
She and James posed for a selfie, in which she softly smiled while showing off some neck makeup resembling a spiderweb. The actor, meanwhile, remained in character as the iconic masked role, keeping a straight face.
"Phantom and the fox,” Kimberly captioned the proud parents’ selfie.
She also shared a photo of James with the couple’s youngest, Jeremiah, who wore a bright yellow onesie. The father-son duo smiled as they sat side by side in a golf cart.
James, who was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer last year, appeared on wife Kimberly’s Instagram feed shortly before Halloween, when she shared a snap of the actor spending some quality time with his father.
Alongside the photo of James and his dad basking in a sunset as they embraced one another, Kimberly wrote, "Happy day 🌷.”

Following his diagnosis, James' father moved to their family's ranch to be there when the star is away for treatment. In a heartfelt birthday tribute to his dad on Instagram in January, the actor said his father helps make lunches, drives the kids and takes care of the dogs and chickens.
James, added, in part, that he is “blown away by how” his dad has “been there for me emotionally as I’ve moved through everything cancer brings up."
James further reflected on how he has balanced fatherhood with undergoing cancer treatment in a birthday tribute to his youngest son Jeremiah earlier in October.
"I’m sorry there have been spells where I couldn’t be the father I would want to be for you… where I was too weak to pick you up, throw you around, or even put you to bed,” the actor wrote, adding: "But know that watching you reveal yourself to us has been one of the greatest joys of my life."
RHOSLC’s Lisa Barlow Clears up ‘Criminal Lawsuit’ Misconceptions: ‘Everyone Online…’

Lisa Barlow is still answering questions about the lawsuits filed against her. If it’s not her co-stars on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

The Vida Tequlia founder hosted a Clarity Luncheon to clear her name to the RHOSLC ladies. Lisa was met with disbelief from some, and more questions from others. So during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she clarified the situation once again.
Lisa Barlow’s lawsuits are “civil,” not “criminal”
WWHL host Andy Cohen posed a public question regarding Lisa’s four lawsuits on the October 28 episode. Viewers wanted to know if they had been “dismissed” in court as Lisa claimed during her luncheon from Season 6, Episode 3.
“Yes, and I just want to clear up a few things. They’re civil lawsuits; they’re not criminal. I’ve never done anything criminal. Everyone online that keeps saying I’m going to jail is wrong,” she replied.
The Clarity Luncheon included giant posters adorned with the words dismissed. However, despite all of Lisa’s supposed explanations, few of her costars accepted it. She chalked it up to a lack of listening skills.
“I cleared up a lot at the clarity lunch,” Lisa explained. “It’s the commitment to listening and asking the same question over and over and over again. That was the problem. I had cute posters, a great outfit… I mean, it went on and on and on for a long time.”
At the time of filming, Lisa equated the lawsuits with “fanciful tales.” She said during the episode, “People can sue you for anything. You can allege anything. So, I figured, like, I’m gonna have a little lunch and we’re gonna talk about the allegations versus facts.”
Will Lisa’s words make any difference with her co-stars? She’s certainly under suspicion from the RHOSLC ladies for allegedly planting stories about them.
