"Is Amy Morton Leaving Chicago P.D.? Fans Panic Over False Exit Reports!" đ±đ„

Cast exits are nothing new to One Chicago fans. Just this season, weâve seen three major exits on Chicago Fire, an original cast member step back from Chicago Med, and watchedÂ
Chicago PD lose a series regular with another set to exit as a result of an unexpected leave of absence.
With how frequently the shows of the One Chicago franchise see actors come and go, itâs understandable that fans of the three One Chicago shows are always worried about the futures of their favorite actors on the show. So when reports recently surfaced that suggested Amy Morton was calling it quits and leavingÂ
Chicago PDÂ after 13 seasons playing Sergeant Trudy Platt, fans took them at face value.
But is there any truth to the reports that Amy Morton is leaving Chicago PD?
Amy Morton is not leaving Chicago PD and never said she was exiting the show
Allow One Chicago Center to clear something up for fans right away: No, Amy Morton is not leaving Chicago PD and has not told NBC that âitâs time to say goodbye.â So why exactly do so many people believe sheâs about to exit the show and leave Trudy Platt behind her? Well, that would be the work of a pair of viral social media posts that have taken off on Instagram and Facebook, which allege that Morton is walking away from the show.
As seen in the screenshot below, the false reports alleged that Morton has confirmed her exit and even included a link to a ânewsâ article that seemed to support the social media posts.
The fake article connected to the social media posts even included the following fabricated quote to back up the claim:
âPlaying Trudy Platt has been one of the greatest privileges of my career. I knew this day would come, and while itâs bittersweet, it feels right. The cast, the crew, the fans â theyâve been my family. Iâll always carry Chicago with me.â
The statement was reported to have been said by Morton in an interview with NBC; however, there is absolutely no NBC report or clip containing the alleged quote from Morton. Just perform a search, and youâll find the only result is the fabricated article connected to the social media posts.
The social media posts have gone viral, which is what these outlets hoped to achieve in creating panic among the One Chicago franchise fans. Itâs a shame that social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram continue to make it so easy for users to spread false information.
Thankfully, these are just false claims and Morton remains a part of the Chicago PD season 13 cast. While it is possible Morton could leave the show at some point, as cast exits are common, she has made no indication that sheâs looking to exit the show. In other words, Platt ainât going nowhere!
RHOSLCâs Lisa Barlow Clears up âCriminal Lawsuitâ Misconceptions: âEveryone OnlineâŠâ

Lisa Barlow is still answering questions about the lawsuits filed against her. If itâs not her co-stars on The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City

The Vida Tequlia founder hosted a Clarity Luncheon to clear her name to the RHOSLC ladies. Lisa was met with disbelief from some, and more questions from others. So during a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, she clarified the situation once again.
Lisa Barlowâs lawsuits are âcivil,â not âcriminalâ
WWHL host Andy Cohen posed a public question regarding Lisaâs four lawsuits on the October 28 episode. Viewers wanted to know if they had been âdismissedâ in court as Lisa claimed during her luncheon from Season 6, Episode 3.
âYes, and I just want to clear up a few things. Theyâre civil lawsuits; theyâre not criminal. Iâve never done anything criminal. Everyone online that keeps saying Iâm going to jail is wrong,â she replied.
The Clarity Luncheon included giant posters adorned with the words dismissed. However, despite all of Lisaâs supposed explanations, few of her costars accepted it. She chalked it up to a lack of listening skills.
âI cleared up a lot at the clarity lunch,â Lisa explained. âItâs the commitment to listening and asking the same question over and over and over again. That was the problem. I had cute posters, a great outfit⊠I mean, it went on and on and on for a long time.â
At the time of filming, Lisa equated the lawsuits with âfanciful tales.â She said during the episode, âPeople can sue you for anything. You can allege anything. So, I figured, like, Iâm gonna have a little lunch and weâre gonna talk about the allegations versus facts.â
Will Lisaâs words make any difference with her co-stars? Sheâs certainly under suspicion from the RHOSLC ladies for allegedly planting stories about them.
