Speaking at the end of series one, Molly said: “Things are looking so much better for us. I'm gonna start spending more time at Tommy's house, keeping things slow and not rushing anything.
“But as always, I always say I don't know what the future holds. I don't think it's gonna be a plain sailing future. I don't. That's just me being honest. I think we're still gonna have bumps.
“The dream is still the same that, you know, we'll get to a place one day when we will all be happy in that house together and have more children, hopefully, and just have a really nice, happy life together.
“That's all I've ever wanted for us. I don't want to get too excited, but I'm getting glimmers of what I always wanted, which is my family. I know we have got something completely worth saving.”
As the credits rolled she added: “But you never know what’s around the corner!”
Speaking in January, Tommy had told Men’s Health their split was caused by his drinking issues. At the time he also denied all rumours of cheating, saying: “All I've been seeing for the past six months, ‘Cheater!’, ‘He slept with me!’, ‘He slept with this girl, he slept with that girl!’ Complete and utter b*llocks.
"We broke up because I had a problem with alcohol and I couldn't be the partner that I wanted to be anymore. It kills me to say it, but I couldn't…Cheating was never a thing. You can ask Molly this yourself. It was the drink and the drink is not a good thing. You need to get a grip of it.
"If you're in the same spot as me where you just think that it's going to cure all your problems, it doesn’t. You just wake up even worse and you want to drink more to try and feel happy again. That's the cycle of it.”
