ABC Drops a Bombshell: Bobby’s Death REVERSED in 9-1-1 Season 9 — Fans Are Stunned!
9-1-1 has been gradually growing its audience on ABC. Right now, however, it's facing its biggest challenge in years.
9-1-1 Is Going Back To Its Silly Cases After Attempting Realism With Bobby's Death

When Bobby died, there was confusion mixed with anger in terms of the reasoning behind it. Admittedly, some are still convinced that Bobby's death is a ruse, and that Krause will eventually return in a major plot twist. Sadly, the chances of that happening are very little to none.
Showrunner Tim Minear attempted to justify killing off the face of 9-1-1 on the heels of the major shocker, saying that they wanted to inject realism into their storytelling. This makes sense for procedurals that lean on the dangers of the job. While
9-1-1 has had multiple near-death experiences, it has never been known for realism.
As 9-1-1 returns for season 9, however, it seems like it is finally walking back in its attempt to make the show more grounded. In the premiere, the 118 responds to an emergency that involves a billionaire being swallowed by a whale. As part of his attempt to reward the first-responders, Hen and Athena get to go on a space expedition.
Why 9-1-1 Works Best When Its More Playful

Killing Bobby is one thing, but using realism as the reason for it when the show has never been rooted in it is another. The backlash from that tragedy made sense, but it also highlighted just how beloved Krause's character was in the franchise. At this point, it would be difficult to undo Bobby's death, but
9-1-1going back to its roots will be one of the best things that ABC can do to make amends.
Beyond 1 character, 9-1-1's appeal has been the way it approaches the first responder procedural genre
. NBC has the One Chicago block and CBS has Fire Country. As great as thoses shows are, however, their tones are more or less the same — intense and oftentimes dark.
9-1-1 allows people to sit back and indulge in the genre without being racked by anxiety every week that someone might die.

In ‘9-1-1’ Season 9, Episode 4, Athena Begins Again – In Both the Past and Present

One of my very favorite things that 9-1-1 does is when the show has “begins” episodes that show flashbacks from the main characters’ lives to show impactful moments in their careers as first responders. These episodes are typically about them becoming first responders, but occasionally, 9-1-1 will return to the characters’ pasts to help them work through issues that they’re dealing with in the present. The fourth episode in 9-1-1 Season 9’s space-themed opening emergency splits its time between Athena (Angela Bassett) in the past (Pepi Sonuga-Rogers) and in the present, as she works to help bring the Inara home.

Towanda Braxton Accused of Trying to Seize Control of Late Sister Traci's Estate From Her Son

A shocking new report alleges Towanda is persuading Traci's son, Kevin Jr., to sign over rights to his mother's legacy, sparking concerns that her motives are purely financial.
The Braxton family has been no stranger to drama, but a shocking new allegation has emerged that strikes at the heart of their family bond and the legacy of their late sister, Traci Braxton. According to a report from blogger Sherrell’s World, Towanda Braxton is allegedly attempting to gain control over Traci's estate, which was left in its entirety to Traci's son, Kevin Jr.
Traci's Final Wishes
According to sources, Traci Braxton made her final wishes explicitly clear in her will. She entrusted her entire estate—including her name, likeness, and all profits tied to her legacy—to her only son, Kevin Jr. This decision placed the person she trusted most in charge of preserving her memory and managing her affairs.
The Allegations Against Towanda
The new report, however, claims that Towanda has recently been in contact with her nephew, Kevin Jr., with a controversial agenda. She is allegedly trying to persuade him to sign over certain rights or ownership of the estate. The justification for this move is reportedly being framed as something that would "benefit the family" or help "preserve Traci’s image."
The Alleged Financial Motive
Insiders close to the situation, however, are painting a much more concerning picture. They claim the real motive behind Towanda's alleged actions may be financial. The suggestion is that Towanda could be looking for a way to profit from Traci’s name and brand, a move that would directly contradict Traci's decision to leave her son as the sole beneficiary.
Fans React with Disappointment
The allegations have sparked a wave of disappointment and concern across social media. Fans of the Braxton family are expressing their belief that Traci's legacy should remain firmly in the hands of her son, just as she intended. The situation has ignited a painful debate about family, money, and the importance of respecting the final wishes of the deceased.
For now, these remain allegations, but they have cast a dark shadow over the family, raising heartbreaking questions about whether Traci's memory is being honored or exploited.
